Project Description:
WESTBOROUGH- SUPERSTRUCTURE REPLACEMENT (PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE), W-24-010, FISHER STREET OVER CSX
The existing steel thru truss/wood deck structure was built in 1915, repaired in 1941, and was closed in 1987. The bridge is currently used by pedestrians only. Deck = 3, Superstructure = 5, Substructure =5. The intent is to replace the existing superstructure with a new pedestrian bridge while re-using the existing granite block abutments.
