NORTON- CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS & RELATED WORK ON EAST MAIN STREET (ROUTE 123), FROM PINE STREET TO I-495

This project is proposed to address poor pavement condition, multi-modal, safety, drainage and related improvement needs, including geometric improvements at intersections. Work on this project includes mill/overlay, sidewalk construction traffic signal system installation at the Route 123/North/South Washington Street intersection and the I-495/Route 123 interchange. New sidewalks are proposed on the South side of Route 123 (East Main Street). Minor widening of the roadway is proposed to provide better bicycle accommodation. In addition, guardrail, curbing and drainage system upgrades are proposed.
