Project Description:
BOXFORD- BORDER TO BOSTON TRAIL
The Boxford section of the Border to Boston Trail is approximately 4 miles, extending from the Topsfield/Boxford line to the Boxford/Georgetown line. Of this length, 2.4 miles will be comprised of an off-road shared use trail facility utilizing former railroad corridor, utility right of way, and state right of way. The remaining 1.6 miles will be an on-road facility along local roadways. The Boxford section will make up part of the larger Border to Boston Trail system nearly 30 miles in length and linking eight Essex County communities.
