Project Description:
HAVERHILL- RECONSTRUCTION ON ROUTE 97 (BROADWAY), FROM SILVER BIRCH LANE TO RESEARCH DRIVE
The project will widen the roadway to provide two 11 foot lanes with 5 foot striped shoulders to accommodate bicycles. Sidewalks will be installed on both sides of the roadway. The intersections of Route 97 at Lake Street and at Forest Street will be reconstructed to provide better alignment, turn lanes and crosswalks. Drainage improvements will be included for the entire project length, approximately 0.94 miles.
