Project Description:
LEE- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, L-05-004, MEADOW STREET OVER POWDER MILL BROOK
This project will provide a replacement bridge for the existing deteriorated steel stringer bridge. The replacement structure will most likely consist of a multi-beam steel stringer, or a pre-cast concrete butted box beam bridge with reinforced concrete deck, founded on pile-supported integral abutments located behind the existing abutments. Sheet pile scour protection will be placed in front of existing abutments, wing walls and retaining wall. Space between the sheet pile wall and front of footing will be filled with concrete, along with all scour voids below the footings.
