Project Description:
BUCKLAND- RECONSTRUCTION AND BICYCLE ACCOMMODATION ON ROUTE 112
The purpose of this project is full depth repair, while improving sight distance and providing bike and pedestrian accommodations throughout the corridor. This project will make an important connection to the newly constructed North street sidewalk completing the connection to the recreation center on Route 112 in the Town of Buckland, MA. The project also proposes to widen the shoulders to accommodate a buffered bicycle lane and add sidewalk to accommodate pedestrians throughout the entire project. Drainage and guardrail will be updated as needed throughout the corridor. A culvert will also be replaced.
