Project Description:
ATHOL- PHILLIPSTON- RESURFACING & RELATED WORK ON ROUTE 2A, FROM ROUTE 32 TO ROUTES 2/202 (MM 36.7 - MM 40.7: 4 MILES)
Work for the Route 2A resurfacing project in Athol-Phillipston will consist of milling the existing paved surface and resurfacing with hot mix asphalt pavement. Work will also include replacing signs and guardrail as needed, repairing hot mix asphalt berm, and new pavement markings. The project limits are as follows: Route 2A from Route 32 (Petersham Road) in Athol, MM 36.7, to Route 2 at Interchange 19 in Phillipston, MM 40.7 for a project length of 4.0 miles.
