Project Description:
WESTFIELD- SUPERSTRUCTURE REPLACEMENT, W-25-021, LOCKHOUSE ROAD OVER PVRR
The existing bridge consists of timber stringers and timber decking supported on stone masonry abutments. The proposed work consists of removing the existing timber superstructure, modifying the existing abutments by casting new cement concrete beamseat, and constructing a new structural steel superstructure with HMA wearing surface. Other incidental work consists of repairs to stone masonry abutments that are to remain, approach roadway work and guardrail upgrades.
