MEDFORD- CLIPPERSHIP DRIVE PARK CONSTRUCTION

The improvements proposed are located on the grounds of the Medford Senior Center at the intersection of Clippership Drive and Riverside Avenue in Medford Square. The project involves extension of the Clippership Linear Park and Bikeway to culminate on a Peace Garden. The project includes a central seating area with water feature, seat wall, fencing, lighting, plantings, bike racks, walkways and pedestrian and bicycle connections to the adjacent uses, Clippership Park and public spaces. The proposed improvements will extend pedestrian and bicycle mobility improvements begun in Phase I and II of the project. These projects represent a segment of the Mystic River Corridor Trail system which will link recreation areas, neighborhoods and commercial nodes along the Mystic River.
