BOSTON- MULTI-USE PATH CONSTRUCTION ON NEW FENWAY (PHASE I)
The Phase 1 multi-use path project will construct a new 12 foot wide paved bike/pedestrian pathway from Maitland/Overland Street to Miner Street in Boston for a total length of approximately 564 feet. This phase combined with other phases (2 & 3) will work toward improving access to the Fenway MBTA Greenline Station and the Yawkey Commuter Rail station and also work toward providing a non-motorized transportation link to key job centers and new mixed-use developments planned for the Fenway area. (Phase 2 from Miner Street to the Green Line Station will be completed by Landmark Center. Phase 3 from Greenline Station to the Muddy River Park will be constructed under a separate contract and file number).
