PITTSFIELD- TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT CENTER STREET AND WEST HOUSATONIC STREET (ROUTE 20)
This 4-leg signalized intersection has been identified by the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission (BRPC) and MassDOT as being eligible for improvements under the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). In addition to safety, there are opportunities to improve bicycle and pedestrian accommodation, intersection geometry, capacity, and regional traffic management.
