HAVERHILL- BRADFORD RAIL TRAIL EXTENSION, FROM ROUTE 125 TO RAILROAD STREET

The project will extend the Bradford rail trail approximately 1100 feet from the Route 125 (Basiliere Bridge) to Railroad Street. The project will include construction of a 10 foot wide path with 2 foot shoulders, vegetation clearing, drainage and paving. The timber decking on a small rail road bridge will be replaced and railings added to accommodate bicycles and pedestrians. the project will also include pedestrian lighting, signs, fencing and landscaping. The project is envisioned to utilize the existing Route 125 underpass. Coordination with any proposed work by MassDOT on this structure will be required.
