Project Description:
WESTWOOD- RECONSTRUCTION OF CANTON STREET AND EVERETT STREET
The purpose of this project is to improve the Canton Street corridor in the vicinity of the University Station development project. The project had initially strted as mitigation for the private development but with the potential of the roadway experiencing increased traffic related to the I-95 interchange project and the construction of a Dedham Street off-ramp the Town is looking to improve the existing conditions of Canton Street to improve the bicycle and pedestrian experience. Some interim measures have been implemented as mitigation for University Station but the long term improvements will require a separate project.
