ASHBY- TOWNSEND- RETAINING WALL RECONSTRUCTION ON ROUTE 119, FROM WHEELER ROAD TO ROUTE 31

The proposed work will involve rehabilitation of the roadway and retaining wall repair. The initial design effort will involve an alternatives analysis to determine the specific scope of work. The effort will look at reconstruction with realignment and wall reconstruction, alternative cost-effective soil stabilization techniques, and potentially relocating Route 119 in part (southbound) or in whole. The final scope of work, including proposed cross-section, and cost will determined from this effort.
