TEWKSBURY- INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT MAIN STREET, SALEM ROAD AND SOUTH STREET

The project scope includes improvements to the intersections of Main Street @ South Street / Main Street @ Salem Road / South Street @ Salem Road and the roadways between and a few hundred feet beyond each intersection (approximately 0.5 Miles). The improvements will include geometric modifications to each intersection, pavement rehabilitation, sidewalks, traffic signals, signs, pavement markings, landscaping, lighting and drainage modifications. The proposed cross section will include two travel lanes, two sidewalks and dedicated bicycle lanes. Main Street @ Salem Road and Salem Road @ South Street approach cross sections will also be evaluated for the installation of dedicated left-turn lanes.
