Project Description:
DRACUT- IMPROVEMENTS ON NASHUA ROAD
The project involves reconstruction and widening of Nashua Road for improved vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian safety. Major intersection improvements are needed at Lakeview Avenue, Tyngsboro Road and Varnum Road to address obsolete geometry, lane configurations and capacity. Sidewalks are needed along the road to provide a safe area for pedestrians to walk. Shoulders are needed for errant vehicles and bicycle accommodation. A traffic signal is also needed at the NashuaRoad/Lakeview Avenue intersection to improve capacity and safety.
