RUTLAND- RECONSTRUCTION OF ROUTE 56 (POMMOGUSSETT ROAD)

The proposed improvements include pavement rehabilitation with minor box widening, from Route 122A to the intersection of Brunelle Drive, a distance of 1.0 mile. The project invovles improvements to pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, including sidewalk reconstruction and extension. Additional improvements include repair or replacement of a culvert, drainage upgrades, new signage and pavement markings. The proposed cross section would include 11’ travel lanes, 5’ shoulders and a 5.5’ HMA sidewalk on one side with granite curb.
