Project Description:
NEW BEDFORD- INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AND RELATED WORK AT ROCKDALE AVENUE AND ALLEN STREET
Work on this project includes minor geometric improvements, traffic signal reconstruction, pedestrian and bicycle accommodation upgrades in compliance with MassDOT’s Healthy Transportation Policy and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The intent of this project is to provide safety and mobility improvements at the intersection of Rockdale Avenue and Allen Street.

    Current Status: Contractor is cun-ently off the project site due to the winter season shutdown. JH Lynch will remobilize to the project site at the sta11 of the 2024 Spring Construction season to resume contract work. Miscellaneous pothole patching operations ongoing as needed after winter storm events. Normal work hours are Monday thru Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Expect periodic lane closures and restrictions.
