DEDHAM- RECONSTRUCTION & RELATED WORK OF BRIDGE STREET (ROUTE 109) AND AMES STREET

Sidewalks and wheelchair ramps will be provided throughout the corridor, roadway pavement will be reconstructed with five-to-six foot wide bicycle lanes and eleven-to-twelve foot wide travel lanes and the existing drainage system will be rehabilitated. The project also includes reconstructing the Bridge Street and Ames Street intersection with improved geometry, new traffic signal equipment and full pedestrian accommodation. Work also includes the removal of an existing pedestrian signal and the installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) at two locations. The work includes full depth hot mix asphalt pavement, milling and overlay, drainage improvements, fence and guardrail installation, new granite curbing, concrete sidewalks, retaining wall construction, landscaping, traffic signing, traffic control management, and other street improvements.
