Project Description:
TRURO- BICYCLE ACCOMMODATION IMPROVEMENT ON ROUTE 6 FROM SOUTH HIGHLAND ROAD TO SOUTH HOLLOW ROAD (PHASE 2)
Work on this project consists of milling and overlay of the roadway, installing pavement markings for bicycle lanes and signage along Route 6 in the Town of Truro from South Highland Road to Shore Road. In addition, improvements are proposed at the Route 6/Shore Road intersection including modification of the crossing. Also, the Route 6 pavement markings will be reconfigured between Shore Road and South Hollow Road, moving the 2 to 4 lane shift cross section closer to South Hollow Road located to the North.
