TYRINGHAM- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, T-10-007, MONTEREY ROAD OVER HOP BROOK
This municipally owned, structurally deficient, two-lane bridge consists of single span steel beams with concrete deck. It was originally constructed in 1939. The bridge has a curb-to-curb width of 26 ft and a span of 26 ft. Traffic volume data from 2010 indicates an average daily traffic of 300 vehicles per day. If the current bridge were to be closed, current NBI data indicates a 3 mile detour would be the alternate route. The proposed project consists of complete bridge replacement.
