Project Description:
PROVINCETOWN- CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS AND RELATED WORK ON SHANK PAINTER ROAD, FROM ROUTE 6 TO BRADFORD STREET
Work on this project consists of roadway reconstruction, sidewalk construction and reconstruction, drainage upgrades, pavement markings and signs along Shank Painter Road. Geometric improvements are proposed at the Route 6/Shank Painter Road intersection. Also included in the project is a road diet on Route 6 from Shank Painter Road to the National Seashore, which will allow for improved bicycle and pedestrian accommodation in the form of a shared use path.
