TEMPLETON- ROUNDABOUT CONSTRUCTION AT THE INTERSECTION OF PATRIOTS ROAD, SOUTH MAIN STREET, NORTH MAIN STREET AND GARDNER ROAD

The intersection of Patriots Road, South Main Street, North, Main Street and Gardner Road has experienced several safety concerns. This project is located in the Town center, and is a major regional connector roadway. The existing intersection is an unsignalized five legged intersection with several approaches marked with turn lanes. The preferred alternative would convert the five legged unsignalized intersection to a single-lane roundabout, resurface intersection approaches, and provide new pavement markings, sidewalks, wheelchair ramps and crosswalks.
