SOUTH HADLEY- RECONSTRUCTION OF MAIN STREET, FROM THE CHICOPEE CITY LINE TO CANAL STREET (0.67 MILES)
This project consists of milling, resurfacing, and pavement widening on a section of Main Street in South Hadley from the Chicopee City Line to Canal Street. The work will include milling, resurfacing, new and reconstructed sidewalks and wheelchair ramps, new bicycle lanes, pavement markings, signage and other incidental items. The city is also considering replacing the existing traffic signal at the intersection of Route 116 with a roundabout.
