MILLVILLE- UXBRIDGE- PAVEMENT PRESERVATION AND RELATED WORK ON ROUTE 146

This project consists of applying an Ultra Thin Bond Overlay to the travel lanes of Route 146 in the towns of Millville and Uxbridge. The southern limit is at the Rhode Island/Massachusetts state line (mm 0.0±). The northern limit is at a pavement joint just north of Mill Street in Uxbridge (mm 3.7±). The total length of this project is approximately 3.7 miles. The work will primarily consist of removing existing slotted markers, milling pavement shims, crack sealing, placing a 3/4” lift of HMA Surface Course Ultra Thin Bonded Overlay (UTBO), fog sealing shoulders, minor bridge deck repairs, resurfacing bridge decks, traffic management, repairing existing guardrail and other related work. The ramps and will be micromilled and resurfaced with 2.5 inches of Superpave Surface Course.
