BELLINGHAM- REHABILITATION AND RELATED WORK ON ROUTE 126, FROM DOUGLAS DRIVE TO ROUTE 140

The project limits extend from Douglas Drive north approximately 1.60 miles to Mechanic Street. The proposed improvements include pavement rehabilitation – both reclamation and mill and overlay, box widening for shoulder and bicycle accommodations in widened shoulders, installation of 5 foot sidewalks and curbing on one side of the roadway, drainage, utility and street lighting upgrades, as well as new signing and pavement markings. An updated pedestrian crossing signal and approach signage at the mid block crossing at Bellingham Middle School.
