PEABODY- REHABILITATION OF CENTRAL STREET

The project will rehabilitate Central Street from Walnut Street to Andover Street and Pulaski Street from Andover Street to Gardner Street including full depth reclamation/reconstruction of the pavement structure, intersection reconstruction, reconstruction of cement concrete sidewalks and crossings, addition of dedicated bicycle accommodations, signage and pavement marking improvements, streetscape enhancements, and drainage system improvements corridor-wide. The intersections of Central Street at Tremont Street, Central Street at Warren Street, Central Street at Andover Street, and Pulaski Street at Gardner Street will be reconstructed and all traffic signal equipment will be upgraded to optimize lane designation for proper flow through the corridor.
