EVERETT- CHELSEA- RECONSTRUCTION OF BEACHAM STREET

The proposed improvements include full-depth reconstruction of the 0.65-mile roadway due to the pavement’s state of disrepair. A shared use path with a buffer is proposed along Beacham Street from Robin Street to the Chelsea City Limits to accommodate safe pedestrian and bicycle traffic. The proposed buffer for the shared use path continues through the Behen Street intersection. Minor geometric alignments at Bow Street are proposed to promote safe turning movements for truck traffic. Existing sidewalks will be reconstructed, and vertical granite curbing will be provided along the corridor. The City of Everett’s project will match into the proposed improvements along Beacham Street in Chelsea.
