DISTRICT 4- SCHEDULED AND EMERGENCY BRIDGE JOINT REPAIRS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS

The work consists of scheduled and emergency bridge joint and related repairs, including repairs to the sidewalks and approach slabs, under the control of District Four for which no other contracts of this nature have been awarded, and it will include: 1.Installation, repair or replacement of bridge joints. 2.Excavation of deteriorated concrete adjacent to joints. 3.Replacement of the excavated concrete with a fast-setting concrete patching compound. 4.Partial depth and/or full depth excavation of the existing reinforced cement concrete decks where deterioration has occurred. 5.Miscellaneous repairs to various bridge appurtenances. 6.Related traffic management. 7.Furnishing all materials, equipment, labor and traffic control required to perform the necessary repair work. All materials and equipment shall be approved by the Engineer prior to work commencing
