Project Description:
SEEKONK- INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AND RESURFACING ON ROUTE 44 (TAUNTON AVENUE) FROM RI LINE TO PECK STREET INCLUDING ROUTE 114A/FALL RIVER AND ARCADE AVE INTERSECTIONS
Work on this project includes reconstruction of the Route 44/Route 114A and Route 44/Arcade Avenue intersections. New traffic signals with associated geometry is proposed at each intersection. Route 44 will be resurfaced from the Rhode Island State line to Peck Street. Sidewalks will be installed and reconstructed along with the installation of ADA compliant curb ramps. Bicycle accommodation will be improved along the corridor. A culvert at Runnings River will also be replaced.
