Project Description:
DRACUT- IMPROVEMENTS AT GEORGE ENGLESBY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (SRTS)
The proposed improvements primarily consist of eliminating sidewalk gaps along Lakeview Avenue from Old Road to Primrose Hill Road, as well as along Turgeon Avenue and New Boston Road between Lakeview and Hurley. Other project elements include new crosswalks and one pedestrian signal. The total project length along Lakeview Ave is approximately 1.4 miles. The total project length along Turgeon Avenue is approximately .06 miles. The total project length along Old Boston Road is approximately .03 miles. The total length of sidewalk gaps is approximately 4,000 feet. New crosswalks are proposed at Turgeon/Hurley, Primrose Hill/Lakeview, Saint Paul/Lakeview, Saint James/Lakeview, Vinal/Lakeview, Martin Terrace/Lakeview, Hypine/Lakeview, and Pearl/Lakeview. A pedestrian signal head is proposed at Tennis Plaza/Lakeview. Pedestrian crossing signs are proposed at Frederick/Lakeview.
