Project Description:
FAIRHAVEN- LEROY WOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS (SRTS)
Work on this project consists of sidewalk installation, bicycle lanes, ADA compliant curb ramps and associated work on Sconticut Neck Road to improve accessibility for bicyclists and pedestrians to the Leroy Wood School from the abutting neighborhoods and the Phoenix Rail Trail.

    Current Status: The Town of Fairhaven watermain replacement project along Sconticut Neck Rd. has been completed, including the permanent HMA of all mainline and service trenches. Third party utility force account work remains ongoing. Placement of the concrete mast arm foundation adjacent to the shared use path has been completed as of 5/2/25. Contractor plans to remobilize fully to the project site once school is out.. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Expect periodic lane closures and restrictions.
