Project Description:
FAIRHAVEN- LEROY WOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS (SRTS)
Work on this project consists of sidewalk installation, bicycle lanes, ADA compliant curb ramps and associated work on Sconticut Neck Road to improve accessibility for bicyclists and pedestrians to the Leroy Wood School from the abutting neighborhoods and the Phoenix Rail Trail.

    Current Status: Subcontractor has installed temporary pavement markings at all crosswalk areas project wide for pedestrian safety and refreshed centerline markings for traffic safety through the fall/winter season. The contractor has demobilized for the year, while utility force account work remains ongoing and the Town of Fairhaven plans to mobilize for their proposed watermain replacement. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Expect periodic lane closures and restrictions. (as of 10/30/2024)
