Project Description:
BROCKTON- ABINGTON- PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE IMPROVEMENTS ON ROUTE 123
The purpose of this project is to provide safety improvements on Centre Street and Brockton Avenue (Route 123) from a point approximately 350 feet easterly of the intersection of Route 123 at Lyman and Cary Street, extending easterly into Abington, ending at Ashland Street, a length of approximately 2.3 miles. The project consists of corridor safety and operational improvements for all modes of travel and will include new ADA compliant sidewalks, buffered bicycle lanes, roadway pavement reconstruction, drainage improvements, improved traffic operations and safety, new signage and pavement markings.
