Project Description:
GRAFTON- MILLBURY STREET IMPROVEMENTS (SRTS)
The Millbury Street Safe Routes to School Project will install over 4200 linear feet of sidewalk along Millbury Street and 850 linear feet of sidewalk along Crosby Road to connect neighborhoods for Sean Mikael Way Oak Ridge Lane Fitzpatrick Road Blanchard Road and Cortland Way. Millbury Street has no pedestrian accommodations to connect Millbury Street School with the surrounding neighborhoods. This project will address pedestrian safety issues through the construction of five 5 foot wide sidewalks, install ADA compliant crossings at intersections within the project area, and install pedestrian warning and crossing equipment to facilitate safe access to the Millbury Street School from adjacent neighborhoods.
