CONCORD- BRIDGE REHABILITATION, C-19-021 (2DT), ROUTE 2 OVER SUDBURY RIVER

The proposed rehabilitation work will include an expanded preservation scheme wherein the existing bridge parapet will be reconstructed with a CT-TL2 barrier, with an architectural treatment, secured to a moment slab. The intent of the architectural treatment is to replicate the look of the existing stone work on the spandrel wall. Modified guardrail transitions will be incorporated at each corner of the bridge. The approach guardrail will be replaced for 50 feet at each corner of the bridge and the existing median barrier will remain.
