Project Description:
DISTRICT 6- PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS AND SOIL REMOVAL AT PARCELS 26A AND 26B
The proposed remedial approach to address Asbestos fibers in soil (AIS) will include removing approximately 14 inches of soil containing asbestos fibers from landscape areas on Parcels 26A and 26B followed by placing a geotextile fabric and restoring the areas to existing conditions. Remediation of lead contaminated soil will include excavating a hotspot as defined by the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) from a discrete area of the Parcel 26B parking lot.
