ANDOVER- RECONSTRUCTION ON ROUTE 133 (LOWELL STREET) FROM SHAWSHEEN ROAD TO ROUTE 28 (NORTH MAIN STREET)

The proposed project includes intersection and corridor improvements along Route 133 (Lowell Street) between Shawsheen Road and North Main Street (Route 28). Improvements include provision of full pedestrian and bicycle accommodations and traffic signal upgrades. The project includes new sidewalks, bicycle lanes (or a shared use path), full depth construction where necessary, drainage modifications, traffic signal replacement, turn lanes, ADA/AAB compliant wheelchair ramps, mill and overlay, new signage and pavement markings along the corridor and intersections.
