EAST BRIDGEWATER- INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT HIGHLAND STREET AND NORTH BEDFORD STREET (ROUTE 18)
The project proposes to improve the existing signalized intersection by either constructing a roundabout or upgrading signal equipment and tightening curb radii/modifying intersection geometry to reduce speeds and promote safety. The feasibility of constructing multi-use paths along each leg of the intersection will be explored to accommodate bicyclists and pedestrians, subject to right-of-way, environmental, utility, grading, and constructability constraints.
