Project Description:
BRIDGEWATER- RAYNHAM- TAUNTON- NORTON- RESURFACING AND RELATED WORK ON I-495
The work to be carried out during the duration of this contract shall consist of 1” depth pavement fine milling to remove existing 1” depth Open Graded Friction Course, and resurfacing with a 0.75” Ultra-Thin Bonded Overlay - Type 2 - Polymer for the I-495 mainline, from station mile marker 25.2 to mile marker 18.3. The work shall also consist of 2” depth pavement fine milling to remove and resurface the I-495 interchange ramps. Additional work connected with this contract will include cleaning, repairing, and adjusting existing drainage structures; replacing end treatments and spot-repairing guardrail and replacing metal guardrail blocks as directed by the Resident Engineer; reinstalling of pavement markings/markers; and selective tree thinning and clearing.
