ANDOVER- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, A-09-015, TEWKSBURY STREET OVER CSX RAILROAD

The work under this contract consists of the superstructure replacement and substructure modifications of Bridge A-09-015 over the CSX Railroad Tracks and roadway improvements along Tewksbury Street from Old Tewksbury Street to Pine Cone Ln/Yardley Rd. The bridge reconstruction will consist of full superstructure, abutment replacement and pier modifications to a 3-span structure having a curb to curb width of 34’-8” with a 6’-0” sidewalk on the northwest side. Additional work under this contract consists of tree removal; excavation; full depth construction; pavement milling; paving; constructing driveways, cement concrete sidewalks and pedestrian curb ramps; removing and resetting existing granite curb; installing new granite curb; stone masonry wall construction; reconstruction of drainage systems; reconstruction of water lines; removing and resetting utility poles; providing and spreading loam borrow and seed; traffic signing and pavement markings, traffic control management, and other street improvements.
