Project Description: |
HOLDEN- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, H-18-004, SALISBURY STREET OVER G&W RAILROAD
The purpose of this project is to replace the bridge carrying Salisbury Street over the Providence and Worcester Railroad. The project will also include roadway pavement overlay, new pavement markings, as well as bicycle and ADA compliant pedestrian curb ramps and sidewalks. A 10-foot shared use path tapers to a 5.5-foot-wide sidewalk at the bridge on the west side in accordance with all applicable design guides. A detour is being proposed during the summer months when school is out to replace the bridge.
