NORTH ADAMS- SUPERSTRUCTURE REPLACEMENT, N-14-007, BROWN STREET OVER THE HOOSIC RIVER

In general, the work to be done under this contract involves the rehabilitation of two bridges: Bridge No. N-14-007 (01G) in North Adams, MA, which carries Brown St. over the Hoosic River; and Bridge No. P-10-058 (078), which carries Hungerford Rd. over the West Branch of the Housatonic River (herein referred to as North Adams or Pittsfield, respectively). The work generally encompasses the partial demolition around defective elements and the repair/strengthening of said elements. In general, this includes the construction of new concrete end diaphragms on North Adams, and a variety of repairs to spalls and beams on Pittsfield.
