BUCKLAND- RECONSTRUCTION OF UPPER NORTH STREET

Project will include about 0.45-mile of highway reconstruction with minor widening to achieve complete streets compliance. The town wants to see continuous sidewalk along the project length, to complete a walkable and bikeable connection from the village of Shelburne Falls to Route 112. In a future project (607610) MassDOT will construct buffered bike-lanes on Route 112 from North Street to the Buckland Recreation Area, about 1.2-miles to the west.
