EGREMONT- RECONSTRUCTION OF MOUNT WASHINGTON ROAD (PHASE II)

Phase II proposes 2.14 miles of highway reconstruction with minor widening to achieve two consistent 10-ft travel lanes and varying shoulders of 3-4 ft. Design Exception was approved by MassDOT Sec. on 02/09/21. Project will also include improvements to the open drainage system and replacement of at least two culverts along Karner Brook. Existing guard rail end treatments and transitions at bridges will be updated to current safety standards.
