MEDFORD- BRIDGE REHABILITATION, M-12-031 (3EM), ROOSEVELT CIRCLE (EB) OVER I-93

The work to be done under this Contract consists of furnishing all required labor, materials, and equipment required for the repair of the damaged section of Bridge M-12-031 (3EM), Roosevelt Rotary South over I-93 Southbound located in Medford. In July 2021 the bridge was hit by an oversized vehicle and the fascia girder (Girder 8) damaged over the I-93 southbound span. The damaged girder, diaphragms, and area of deck was removed and the bridge reopened. The proposed work will replace the damaged fascia girder, diaphragms and area of deck over the fascia girder. The existing bridge railing was removed prior to the partial demo of the bridge and has been stored on site. The existing railing will be reset with new anchorage.
