FITCHBURG- IMPROVEMENTS AT MEMORIAL MIDDLE SCHOOL (SRTS)

The project will increase the safety and number of students walking to and from Memorial Middle School. The improvements will focus on three heavily trafficked routes to and from the school. The project bounds include: Pratt Road from the Parkhill Park parking lot to Causeway Street; Rollstone Street from Franklin Road to Pine Street, and Causeway Street between Pratt Road and Rollstone Street. All three routes connect Memorial Middle School (within an Environmental Justice area) with other Environmental Justice census tracts and will create enhancements to improve accessibility for students and other residents of these neighborhoods.
