DISTRICT 5- OFF-SYSTEM BRIDGE BUNDLE, D-14-008, L-01-011, L-01-015, M-03-018, P-13-031, P-13-035, W-06-038 (DB)

This is a design-build project for eight bridges located in District 5. These bridges carry East Street over Route 3 in Duxbury, Pickens Street over Route 140 in Lakeville (2 bridges), George Street and the MBTA/Amtrak over Copland Drive in Mansfield (2 bridges), River Street over Plymouth Plantation Highway in Plymouth, and Jordan Road of Route 3 in Plymouth (2 bridges). The work to be done under this Contact consists of demolition of the deck and replacement with new concrete bridge deck with updated railings and new bituminous wearing surfaces, substructure repairs, cleaning and painting of structural steel and structural steel repairs. The work will also include the application of an elastomeric protective coating to concrete surfaces at the piers, abutments, and copings. The scope of work also includes maintenance of traffic during all operations according to the Temporary Traffic Control Plans.
