Project Description:
GOSHEN- RECONSTRUCTION OF ROUTE 9
This project will reconstruct about 0.75-mi of State-owned Route 9 between Cape Street and West Street to implement Complete Streets. WalkBoston conducted a walk audit in 2017 with the town and MassDOT with to goal to formulate a conceptual plan that would ultimately "formalize" the Goshen village area, promote greater walkability, and provide accommodating infrastructure for all residents, especially residents of senior housing units (constructed in 2018) located across from town hall.
