Project Description:
HOLYOKE- EASTHAMPTON- INTERSTATE PAVEMENT PRESERVATION AND RELATED WORK ON I-91
The work to be done consists of resurfacing Interstate 91 in Holyoke and Easthampton and includes the bridges over Country Club Road, Reservation Road, Route 141 EB and WB, Bemis Road and East Street. The project extends from mile marker 14.9 in Holyoke to mile marker 21.0 in Easthampton, totaling 6.1 miles. The work also includes bridge deck re habilitation and resurfacing, replacement and repair of bridge joints, removing and replacing existing pedestrian curb ramps, proposed sidewalk and pedestrian curb ramps, excavation of accumulated sediment on roadway shoulders to restore country drainage, adjusting and/or rebuilding drainage structures, cleaning paved waterways, replacing or repairing guardrail, installation of recessed pavement markings and slotted pavement markers, implementing temporary traffic controls, and other incidental items.
