Project Description:
WAREHAM- BRIDGE PRESERVATION, W-06-037 (4AJ) & W-06-040 (4AD), MAPLE SPRINGS ROAD AND TIHONET ROAD OVER STATE ROUTE 25
This project will consist of a bridge preservation at the Maple Springs Road and Tihonet Road bridges over State Route 25, in the town of Wareham. The work proposed includes steel beam end repairs, full painting, joint repairs, and minor deck & substructure patching.

    Current Status: NEL Corporation has secured all equipment in the median and completed shoring tower R&R's. NEL will begin bridge deck repairs on Maple Springs Road in the coming weeks. Crew is on daytime operations which began on 11/18/24. Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Expect periodic lane closures and restrictions. (as of 04/02/2025)
    Additional Info: Maple Springs Road has a new traffic pattern that started on 3/12/25. Two way traffic will be maintained on the Northbound side of the road as bridge deck repairs will commence (behind barrier) on the Southbound side. (as of 04/02/2025)
